 WFF GreenDays 2010

Within the limits of the world nature protection action of program WFF days of activity World Flora Fauna GreenDays with participation of radio amateurs of all world for carrying out of radio connections by a principle "all with all" and the radio stations working from territories of national natural parks and reserves of the world which are set off under program WFF (see WFF Directory: http://www.wff44.com/en/list/ ) are spent.

Motto GreenDays: «Lets save the green planet Earth!»

Organizers GreenDays: Fund World Flora Fauna at support RRC, Unesco, WWF, Greenpeace and World Heritage.

Purposes GreenDays:

· carrying out of the international ekologo-educational and nature protection action on attention attraction to problems of especially protected natural territories and preservation of vanishing species of flora and fauna of a planet the Earth;

· the organisation of visiting of national parks and reserves of the world radio amateurs and an establishment with them sessions of radio connections;

· Attraction of radio amateurs to performance of rules of various WFF program awards and national degree programs;

· celebrating of first anniversary of start of World Flora Fauna program;

· increase of camera skill of participants.

 

Date and time of carrying out GreenDays

Days of activity GreenDays will be spent from 00:00 UTC on June, 12th till 23:59 UTC on June, 13th, 2010.

Modulation kinds:

CW, SSB

Bands:

160 m, 80 m, 40 m, 30 m, 20 m, 17 m of 15 m, 12 m, 10 m.

«The Red Book» participants (a subgroup of participants):

A (Bison) - single operator, MIX (CW, SSB);

A1 (the Amur tiger) - single operator, CW;

A2 (Polar bear) - single operator, SSB;

B (the Big rhinoceros) - multi operators, MIX (CW, SSB);

C (the Dolphin Amazonian) - youth radio stations (age till 18 years), radiation any kind;

D (the Greenland seal) - SWL;

E (the Crocodile Cuban) - single operator, stations working under program WFF from territories of national parks and reserves, MIX (CW, SSB);

E1 (The Pelican Dalmatsky) - single operator, stations working under program WFF from territories of national parks and reserves, CW;

E2 (Turtle Denticulata ) - single operator, stations working under program WFF from territories of national parks and reserves, SSB;

F (the Huge Panda) - multi operators, the stations working from territories of national parks and reserves under program WFF, all ranges, MIX (CW, SSB).

Notes:

1. To participants GreenDays of subgroups E, E1, E2 and F not having special call signs insistently it is recommended to transfer after a call sign an abbreviation  /FF (Flora Fauna) for the purpose of correct identification of WFF-stations in days of activity.

2. In a subgroup youth radio stations can participate collective and individual radio stations, age of operators till 18 years inclusive.

Numbers

It is recommended to transfer the general call "CQ GreenDays" in SSB and “CQ GD” in CW.

The stations working from territories of national parks and reserves, transfer RST (RS) and directory number under program WFF, (for example 599 RFF 120), competitors of prize-winning places following the results of GreenDays transfer RST (RS) and number 44 (Forty Four = Flora Fauna), the others - RST (RS).

It is authorised to spend usual QSOs and to transfer the habitual information, depending on a situation.

The mixed QSO are not set off.

For SWL stations supervision is set off, if are accepted both call signs and at least one control number (unilateral supervision) or both control numbers (bilateral supervision). Repeated supervision are resolved on different ranges or different kinds of modulation.

Addition of points:

· for QSO with the radio station working under program WFF from territory of national park or reserve - 10 points;

· for QSO with the participant of days of the activity, transferring control number 44 - 3 points;

· for QSO with other participants - 1 point;

· for observers an addition of points similar.

· among the radio stations working under program WFF from territory of national park or reserve, special offset, within the limits of the subgroups is spent. QSO which will be spent by the operator of such station - 1 point.

QSO with participants which have not sent the reports, are set off in case the call sign of the participant meets not less than in five sent reports. For radio communications with WFF the radio stations which have not sent the report, or removed from offset, points are not charged.

Repeated radio communications

Radio communications with the same correspondent during GreenDays are authorised to be spent on different bends, and on the same range different modes.

Multipliers

For all subgroups QSO with each national park and nature reserve under program WFF gives one point for  multiplier on each band once irrespective of mode.

Result calculation

The definitive result turns out product of a sum of points on all bands on a total multiplier.

Awards

Trophy - to the best in each subgroup GreenDays. The participants who have occupied 1-3 places in each subgroup, will be awarded by diplomas. All participants WFF of expeditions will be awarded by special diplomas for participation in WFF GreenDays. The special prize will award a command in subgroup F, given the full report after activity days (article, a photo or a video data) about the last expedition. As from the general sponsor prizes-plaquettes of 3 levels for the best WFF expeditions within the limits of GreenDays, and also the free press of QSL in style WFF for expedition are founded.

All diplomas will be printed on an ecological pure paper, and awards are made of secondary raw materials.

Judiciary board GreenDays has the right to award especially caused a stir participants in addition.

The information on the logs

Electronic logs for GreenDays are accepted in format Cabrillo. Logs in written form in the standard form also are accepted.

For the stations declared in subgroup E, E1, E2 and F it is necessary to put to the log any proofs of the work from reserve territory / national park during GreenDay (photos, the letter from management, the tickets, given systems of navigation GPS, APRS, etc.)

30 days after termination GreenDays (on a postage stamp).

Additional comments 

- For some months prior to the beginning GreenDays on a site wff44.com registration of participants GreenDays for all WFF subgroups which will be displayed in on-line mode  on an interactive card of the world is welcomed.

- During GreenDays possibility to satisfy condition WFF of diplomas, and also national degree programs of reserves and national parks on the basis of the sent logs, without QSL confirms. The request to put the demand for diplomas to the log.

- Comments (soapbox), wishes and impressions of competitions, and as photos and video are welcomed. After action and summarising end the film from materials of participants will be written down.

- The print special QSL for participation in GreenDays (official QSL partner GreenDays - UA6HPR QSL Print) which personify a natural landscape of the country of the participant and its inhabitants of the world of flora and fauna is welcomed.
